🔪Instructions
This great recipe just involves a few simple steps:
Preparing Your Slow Cooker
Prepare your slow cooker by coating it with a non-stick agent. Any nonstick cooking spray or oil will work. Olive oil and avocado oil are my go-to coatings.
NOTE: some slow cooker inserts come with a nonstick surface. Use of a non-stick agent is still suggested. However, oil is sometimes recommended rather than spray to protect the longevity of the non-stick surface. Check your slow cooker's manual if you have any concerns.
Alternatively, you can choose to use a slow cooker liner.
Cooking
- 🍗 To a greased slow cooker, add French dressing, onion soup mix, cranberry sauce, and dried cranberries.
- 🍗 Stir to combine.
- 🍗 Place turkey breast into sauce in slow cooker. Turn turkey over so that it is coated with sauce on all sides. Additionally, spoon some sauce over top.
- 🍗 Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- 🍗 The most important step is to monitor the internal temperature of your turkey. Turkey breast is considered safe to eat when it reaches165℉. Once it hits 165℉, slice and serve promptly. Letting the turkey sit in the heat too long will result in dry, rubbery finished product.
- 🍗 After cooking time, remove the whole turkey breast from the slow cooker. Slice it into thick slices and serve with warm sauce.
Top Tip
Turn this dish into a one pot meal: Add a piece of parchment paper on top of the turkey/sauce at the start of cooking. Place cleaned baby potatoes on top of the parchment and they will cook while the turkey does.
Add another parchment paper on top of slow cooker contents to cook a veggie such as broccoli. Place broccoli on top of second parchment about 30 minutes before serving. Cover and cook along with the other items until al dente.

Storing
Once your leftover turkey cools a bit store it in the refrigerator in an airtight container. It will last for 3-4 days this way.
For longer storage, try freezing it in a freezer safe container or bag. It will stay good for 2-3 months when frozen. Frozen turkey should be allowed to defrost in the refrigerator before gently reheating.
