Slow Cooker Whipped Cottage Cheese Pizza Dip

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cottage cheese whipped
  • 2 cups Italian blend shredded cheese mozzarella and provolone
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • red pepper flakes optional to taste
  • salt and pepper optional to taste
  • 1 cup mozzarella shredded for topping
  • oregano for topping
  • your favorite pizza toppings I use pepperoni and mushrooms

Instructions

  • In a greased slow cooker, place 4 cups cottage cheese , 2 cups Italian blend shredded cheese , 2 cups marinara sauce, ½ cup parmesan cheese , 1 tablespoon garlic powder, and 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Stir well to fully combine
  • Add red pepper flakes (if using), and salt and pepper to taste
  • top with 1 cup mozzarella, oregano , and your favorite pizza toppings
  • Cover and cool on low heat for 3-4 hours or high for ⅕ - 2 hours.
  • Serve with crackers and veggie sticks.

This is a great party dish!  It can be served right from your slow cooker and will stay delicious on the warm setting for a few hours
This dish can be halved for a small group.  I suggest using a small slow cooker for this.  
Nutritional values here do not include any toppings other than cheese.
I use cottage cheese that is 1% milkfat cottage cheese that is already whipped.
