Slow Cooker Soft Pretzel Cheese Dip

Slow cooker pretzel cheese dip is like cheesy heaven. It is creamy, tangy and easy to make. The perfect addition to any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 8 oz cream cheese brick, cut into 10 squares
  • ½ cup beer
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • non stick cooking spray or oil

Instructions

  • spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray
    non stick cooking spray or oil
  • add all ingredients to slow cooker and stir to combine a bit, if possible
    2 cups cheddar cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, 8 oz cream cheese, ½ cup beer, 1 teaspoon dijon mustard, ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • cover and cook on low until all cheese is melted, this took me about one hour
  • remove lid and allow to cook on high until the alcohol burns off and any watery consistency evaporates
  • serve with pretzels and enjoy!!!

Notes

Please note that the alcohol content in this dish will never completely cook off.  Cooking with the lid off for the final portion of cooking time will allow for much of it to cook off.
