Slow Cooker Eggnog Overnight Oats Recipe

Spoon to stir
- 1 cup steel cut oats Do not use any other than steel cut oats for this recipe
- 1.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 4 cups eggnog I prefer to use almond milk nog which contains no eggs.
To a greased slow cooker, add 1 cup steel cut oats, 1.5 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg, ¼ cup brown sugar, and 4 cups eggnog
Stir to combine
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours (overnight) or high for 3 - 4 hours
stir again before serving and enjoy!
This recipe is sweet. If prefer a less sweet version, do not include the brown sugar. This can always be added later if you like.
