Slow Cooker Eggnog Overnight Oats Recipe

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel cut oats Do not use any other than steel cut oats for this recipe
  • 1.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 4 cups eggnog I prefer to use almond milk nog which contains no eggs.

Instructions

  • To a greased slow cooker, add 1 cup steel cut oats, 1.5 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg, ¼ cup brown sugar, and 4 cups eggnog
  • Stir to combine
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours (overnight) or high for 3 - 4 hours
  • stir again before serving and enjoy!

Notes

This recipe is sweet.  If prefer a less sweet version, do not include the brown sugar.  This can always be added later if you like.
