- 1 lb ground turkey or ground beef
- 1 lb turkey kielbasa or regular kielbasa - cut into ½" coins
- 1 lb baby potatoes cut in half
- 2 15oz cans diced tomatoes with all juices
- 15 oz can pinto beans rinsed and drained
- 15 oz can black beans rinsed and drained
- 15 oz can corn
- 15 oz can creamed corn
- 1 small onion diced
- 1 cup peas frozen
- 2 cups broth chicken, beef or turkey
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- shredded cheese optional garnish
To a greased slow cooker, add 1 lb ground turkey . Use a wooden spoon or rubber spatula to break up turkey

Add 1 lb turkey kielbasa, 1 lb baby potatoes, 2 15oz cans diced tomatoes, 15 oz can pinto beans, 15 oz can black beans, 15 oz can corn, 15 oz can creamed corn, 1 small onion, 1 cup peas, 2 cups broth, 1 tablespoon garlic, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 1 tablespoon cumin, and1 teaspoon paprika to slow cooker
Stir to combine making sure that ground meat is well distributed
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours
Add 1 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon pepper, if needed
Top with shredded cheese (optional) and enjoy!

I use turkey in the recipe to keep things a little lighter. Ground beef and sausage can also be used. If you decide to use ground beef, use either extra lean, or brown first and drain fat prior to adding it to your slow cooker.
