- 1 -1.5 lbs beef stew meat
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 15.5 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 20 oz fresh or frozen cheese tortellini
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- grated parmesan optional garnish
- fresh basil optional garnish
Add 1 -1.5 lbs beef stew meat, 2 cups marinara sauce, 2 cups beef broth, 15.5 oz can diced tomatoes, 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning, 2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon ground black pepper to a greased slow cooker and stir to combine
Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
15 - 30 mintues prior to serving, 20 oz fresh or frozen cheese tortellini and 1 cup shredded mozzarella to slow cooker and stir to combine. Try to submerge tortellini as much as possible in slow cooker liquid.
cover and cook on low until tortellini is fully cooked
Top with grated parmesan and chopped fresh basil and enjoy!
