Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Chicken Sliders

Slow cooker pulled BBQ chicken sliders are tender, saucy, and super easy to make. Just toss the ingredients into your crockpot and let it go. After is cooks, just shred, stir and pile on to soft buns for an easy crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

  • lbs chicken breast
  • 18 oz prepared BBQ sauce I love Sweet Baby Rays
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • slider buns

Instructions

  • Add 18 oz prepared BBQ sauce , 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp onion powder to a greased slow cooker and stir to combine
  • Place 1½ lbs chicken breast into the sauce and turn it over a few times to fully coat in the sauce
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours. Chicken is fully cooked when it reaches an internal temperature of 165℉.
  • Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken.
  • Stir shredded chicken into the sauce to fully combine
  • Allow to rest on the warm setting for about 20 minutes after shredding so the chicken has a chance to absorb the sauce
  • Pile shredded chicken on slider buns with toppings of choice.

Notes

  1. Nutrition calculations are based on the shredded chicken only. Slider buns and toppings are not included. 
  2. Use your favorite BBQ sauce for this.  If you don't like the sauce, you wont love the finished product. 
  3. In a hurry?  Just use the prepared BBQ and chicken.
