Ingredients

mushrooms
baby bella and white button mushrooms both work well. I like to use a mixture of both when I can
½
cup
parmesan cheese
fresh grated is always best, when possible
½
cup
onion
diced
⅓
cup
olive oil
5
cloves
garlic
freshly pressed (you can use the jarred, minced kind if you prefer)

tablespoons
ranch dressing mix
see notes above if you would like to make your own

fresh dill, divided
finely chopped
Instructions
clean mushrooms by wiping off any dirt with a damp paper towel and cut off the end of the stem
3 lbs mushrooms
Add mushrooms to slow cooker.
add remaining ingredients into slow cooker and stir
½ cup parmesan cheese,
½ cup onion,
⅓ cup olive oil,
5 cloves garlic,
2 tablespoons ranch dressing mix,
1.5 tablespoons fresh dill, divided
cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours
optional: sprinkle additional grated parmesan cheese and fresh chopped dill on top when serving.
Notes
To add spice to this recipe, add hot pepper flakes
This recipe can be double for larger gatherings.
