Slow Cooker Roasted Tomatoes and Garlic
Use your crockpot to slowly bring out the delicious flavors of fresh roasted grape or cherry tomatoes and garlic cloves.
Servings: 25 servings
- 1 cup whole garlic cloves
- 1.5 lbs grape tomatoes
- 3 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
remove all paper from garlic cloves and cut off the woody ends, if necessary
1 cup whole garlic cloves
spray slow cooker with non-stick spray
place tomatoes and garlic into slow cooker
1 cup whole garlic cloves, 1.5 lbs grape tomatoes
drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and pepper
3 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon sea salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper
cover and cook on high until tomatoes and garlic are both soft.
serve as and enjoy!
Be very careful when popping any tomatoes that remain whole. The juice and seeds will be VERY HOT and can squirt.
If serving make-your-own style, I suggest popping any remaining whole tomatoes with a fork first. It is also a good idea to allow the dish to cool a bit before serving.
