Slow Cooker Peanut Butter Granola with M&M's
This peanut butter granola made in your slow cooker is everything! It is simple to make, has very few ingredients, and will disappear just as fast as you can make it!

- 4 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1½ cups peanut butter, creamy
- ⅓ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½+ cup mini M&M's optional
- non stick spray
spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray, or use a slow cooker liner

add oats, peanut butter, honey and vanilla to slow cooker
4 cups old-fashioned oats, ⅓ cup honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1½ cups peanut butter, creamy
cover and cook on high until peanut butter is melted, about 45 minutes
stir ingredients in your crockpot until full combined
place on slow cooker slightly askew to allow extra moisture to escape.
continue to cook on high. stir ingredients every 30 - 45 minutes to ensure your granola doesn't burn on the bottom.
continue until granola reaches a toasty consistency.
turn off slow cooker, remove lid and allow granola to cool slightly.
stir in M&M's
½+ cup mini M&M's

*I have only made this with commercially prepared, creamy peanut butter.
**M&M pieces can be swapped with chocolate chips, however, make sure granola is fully cooled before mixing them in.
***M&M pieces can be supplemented or swapped with some healthier options such as raisins, craisins or dried pineapple bits.
