- 3 lbs mushrooms baby bella and white button mushrooms both work well. I like to use a mixture of both when I can
- ½ cup parmesan cheese fresh grated is always best, when possible
- ½ cup onion diced
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic freshly pressed (you can use the jarred, minced kind if you prefer)
- 2 tablespoons ranch dressing mix see notes above if you would like to make your own
- 1.5 tablespoons fresh dill, divided finely chopped
clean mushrooms by wiping off any dirt with a damp paper towel and cut off the end of the stem

Add mushrooms to slow cooker.
add remaining ingredients into slow cooker and stir
½ cup parmesan cheese, ½ cup onion, ⅓ cup olive oil, 5 cloves garlic, 2 tablespoons ranch dressing mix, 1.5 tablespoons fresh dill, divided
cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours
optional: sprinkle additional grated parmesan cheese and fresh chopped dill on top when serving.
- To add spice to this recipe, add hot pepper flakes
