Lazy Slow Cooker Meatballs with Ravioli Recipe

Slow cooker meatballs with ravioli is one of those delicious recipes that requires very little preparation. Soft pillows of ravioli cooked together with meatballs in red sauce and topped with cheese - what could be better?

  • lbs. frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 lb. mini meatballs fully cooked and frozen
  • 5 cups (or about 2 jars) marinara sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 cup shaved or shredded Parmesan cheese divided in to two equal parts
  • non-stick cooking spray of choice


  • If using crockpot liner, add that in first. If not, spray slow cooker with non-stick spray
  • cover bottom of slow cooker with about 1-1½ cups sauce
  • add a full layer of ravioli over sauce
  • spoon another layer of sauce over ravioli
  • sprinkle with Italian seasoning and dried basil
  • place a layer of meatballs on top of spices
  • spoon remaining sauce over top of meatballs
  • sprinkle half of cheese over sauce, cover and cook on low for 6 -8 hours
  • To confirm exactly when meatballs are safe to serve, use a meet thermometer. When meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165°, they are considered ready to serve.
  • about 10 minutes prior to serving, sprinkle cheese over top of dish. Cover and allow cheese to melt before serving,


Note: if you want to dial up the heat, add some garlic powder, onion powder and red pepper flakes when adding remainder of spices.
