Lazy Slow Cooker Mulled Wine Recipe

Your crockpot is the perfect way to make this warm and wonderful seasonal drink. Red wine filled with fruit and spices that are heated to the perfect temperature for a delicious and inviting treat!

  • 1 750ml bottle red wine
  • ½ cup triple sec or other orange liquor
  • ¼ cup agave
  • 1 sliced orange, divided Do not remove peel
  • 1 apple, cut into wedges
  • 4-6 cinnamon sticks, divided

Instructions

  • Place liner in slow cooker, if using
  • pour contents of wine bottle into slow cooker
    1 750ml bottle red wine
  • add triple sec and agave, stir
    ½ cup triple sec, ¼ cup agave
  • add apple wedges, 2 large or 4 small cinnamon sticks and about ⅔ of the orange slices
    1 sliced orange, divided, 1 apple, cut into wedges, 4-6 cinnamon sticks, divided
  • cover and cook on high for at least 1 hour, until drink is hot
  • turn down to warm and use a ladle to fill glasses
  • use remaining orange slices and cinnamon sticks to decorate glasses
