Slow Cooker Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings

slow cooker liner or parchment paper (optional)
- 1.5 - 2 lbs chicken wings separated into drumettes and wingettes
- ¼ cup butter melted
- 1½ cups parmesan cheese grated, divided
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon chives dried
separate wing parts and place into slow cooker
1.5 - 2 lbs chicken wings
melt butter
¼ cup butter
sprinkle 1 cup of parmesan cheese and all remaining ingredients over wings.
¼ cup butter, 1 tablespoon garlic, 1 tablespoon chives, 1½ cups parmesan cheese
stir wings to fully coat
cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours
top with additional parmesan cheese
1½ cups parmesan cheese
If you want crispy wings, place them in an air fryer or under the broiler. If you chose the broiler, you just need a few minutes on each side. My air fryer took about 8 minutes on one side and 5 on the second.

If broiling wings, be sure to watch the carefully. They will only need a few minutes on each side and will quickly go from cooked to burned.
