Lazy Slow Cooker Green Bean Casserole {without condensed soup)
Slow cooker green bean casserole is the crock pot version of a holiday classic. This rendition is made with out condensed soup, but with all of the flavor and creaminess you love. Great for a holiday or any day!

mix together onion powder, corn starch, salt, pepper milk, mushrooms and Worcestershire sauce
microwave mixture on high for 3 minutes and check to see if it has thickened. If it has not, continue to microwave 30 seconds at a time. checking in between to confirm a thicker consistency
allow to cool slightly
add beans and parmesan cheese to slow cooker
mix cooled milk mixture into beans in slow cooker and stir to combine
cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours
remove lid and stir in sour cream.
cover again and allow mixture to heat back up
Prior to serving, remove slow cooker lid and sprinkle liberally with French fried onion
Do not put lid back on slow cooker after adding onion topping to help keep it crisp.
