Pasta E Fagioli
To make this amazing
pasta fagioli, you will need:
– garbanzo beans
– kidney beans
– diced tomato
– tomato sauce
– beef stock/broth
– Italian seasoning
– ditalini pasta
Start by browning
ground beef on your
**This can also be done in a slow cooker**
Once cooked, drain all fat from beef and discard
Add groud beef, beans, tomatoes, sauce, vegetables and seasonings (other than fresh rosemary) into your slow cooker
Place sprigs of fresh rosemary on top of other ingredients. Cover and cook on low.
When finished cooking, remove rosemary first
30 minutes prior to serving, add in ditalini pasta
Serve your delicious Pasta e fagioli (or as some like to say "pasta fazool") in bowls to make sure you don't lose a drop of the goodness!
Top with fresh grated parmesan cheese.
